Assembly:
For best results please watch the video.
1) Sew the legs flat to the underside of the body.
2) The arms are sewn under the head, I sewed mine one ring down from the top of the neck. Add a stitch or 2 from under the arm to the body to tack the arm down if they are flaring out too far.
3) Whip stitch a nose in place before sewing the muzzle to the head. Stuff the muzzle and use lots of pins to hold it in place before sewing. The top of the muzzle is placed on the 13th row.
4) Sit the bunny down and see where the tail will look best then pin it on, use lots of pins then sew it in place unless you made a pom pom tail. Sew the pom pom on as is shown in the video.
5) Pin the ears on top of the head and play around with placement before sewing them in place.
Now your Bunny is all ready to dress up!
For dress material used :
Red Heart Comfort Yarn in Tango 3232 and Emerald 3233 and White 3130
use the same hook size you used to make the bunny
blunt end yarn needle for sewing
scissors
3 sets of snap closures for dress
1 set of snap closures for detachable collar
regular sewing needle and thread for snap closures
Abbreviations:
st = stitch
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
f/o = finish off
Dress: starting with maroon*

3) start in 2nd st from hook, 1sc in next 6st then 2sc in next st (32) ch3 turn

11) start in 3rd st from hook, 1hdc in each st (91) ch2 turn
12) start in 3rd st from hook, 1hdc in each st, switch to green on last hdc (91) ch2 turn
13) (1sc the 3rd st from the hook, ch2, 1sc in next st then sl st next 3st. This is the end of this sequence) (ch2 1sc in next st repeat 4 times then sl st next 3st and repeat this sequence until there is 2st left in the row) for the last 2st, ch2 1sc in next st, ch2 1sc in next st then sl st into any space and f/o weave in yarn tails.
Place the dress onto the bunny. Take note where the middle snap closure should be sewn on making sure you have made room for the tail. Sew the snaps in place using similar color thread to your dress. If you think the dress is flaring out too much once it's on the bunny, I show how to fix that in the video.Dress Straps: make 2 with green
1) ch13
2) start in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in each ch (12)
f/o weave in yarn tails.
Place dress onto the bunny and take note where the straps should go. Sew the ends of the straps in place using a strand of maroon yarn. Make sure you have room for the arm to go through before sewing both ends in place.
Pocket: make 2 with maroon
1) ch10
2) start in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in each st (9)
3-5) ch3 turn, start in 4th st from hook, 1dc in each st for 3 rows
**Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing. Weave in shorter yarn tail. Place on the dress, directly in line with the arms so that the hands lay right over the center of the pocket. When sewing around the pocket be sure to pierce the side stitches, sewing in a line down the edges of the pockets instead of wrapping (whip stitching) around the stitches. If you whip stitch this will create holes in the sides of the pockets.**
Detachable Collar: starting with maroon
1) ch 29
2) start in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in each st (28) ch1 turn
3) 1sc in next 6st then 2sc in next st switch to green on last st (32) ch2 turn
4) (sc into the 3rd st from hook, ch2 and sc into next st, then sl st next 2st) ch2 sc into next st, ch2 sc into next st then sl st next 2st repeat this sequence to the end.
** Fasten off and weave in all yarn tails. Sew on snaps.**
White Chain:
1) chain about 100-110. You can add more or less depending on desired length.
Fasten off and leave a length for sewing. Thread the finishing yarn tail through your yarn needle and weave that in and out through the dress pulling the chain through as you weave. Go in about a half inch from the edge and finish the weaving about a half inch from the edge of the dress on the other end, this allows the dress to overlap without interfering with the bow. Cut the yarn tails off about a quarter inch from the knot on each end of the chain. Rub a little glue on the knots if you're worried they will come loose.
In the video I show how to tie the bow so that you have a bow that will sit perfectly on it's own.
Shoes: make 2 with maroon
1) magic circle with 6sc (6)
2) 2sc in each st (12)
3) 1sc then 2sc in next st (18)
4) 1sc in next 2st then 2sc in next st (24)
5) 1sc in next 3st then 2sc in next st (30)
6-8) 1hdc in each st for 3 rows
9) 1sc in next 3st then 2tog (24)
10) 1sc into the next st then ch8 and sl st into the 12st from the start of the chain. **Fasten off and weave in yarn tail.**
Little Bow: with green
1) ch18
**Fasten off leaving a long yarn tail for wrapping and sewing. Cut the other yarn tail up close to the knot but not so close that it might come undone. Bring the 2 ends together making a circle, overlapping the ends just a bit. Bring the center of the circle down to meet the 2 ends forming a figure 8. Use the one yarn tail to sew it together then sew the bow to the shoe. You can sew it to the front, side, back.. anywhere you think looks best.**
